Catch up with classmates and friends, reconnect with teachers and join our alumni panel to answer questions from our eighth graders as they prepare for life after Grymes.  Pizza and refreshments are served!
The Grymes Board of Trustees hosts an annual Christmas Party for the Grymes community to “jingle and mingle” and usher in the holiday season. Under the soft glow of lights, festive holiday decorations set the mood for holiday fun, while this year Board members served as bar tenders – with tip jars for Annual Fund donation.

Run by the GPTA, the Holiday Bazaar is a time to enjoy kids’ crafts, a wreath-making workshop and holiday cheer while also purchasing poinsettias with proceeds benefiting the GPTA.

A highlight of the school year showcasing the unique talents and abilities of so many of our Grymes students of all ages, the Variety Show is quite a production run entirely by volunteers.
Each Spring, we invite the grandparents and grandfriends of Grymes students to campus for a fun and inspiring morning event. Grandparents and friends are invited to visit their student’s classrooms, meet their teachers and friends and explore the hallways for student artwork and a photo portrait to enjoy as a memento for the day. Following time in the classroom, students, teachers, grandparents and grandfriends head to the May Pole for the traditional May Pole Dance performed by 7th and 8th grade girls. Then it’s off to the gym where students in all classes are proud to show off their musical talents, entertaining grandparents and grandfriends with songs and performances that highlight some of the things they’ve been working on in music class throughout the year.
