Junior Kindergarten Teaching Position for 2020-2021

Grymes Memorial School seeks to hire a full-time Junior Kindergarten teacher for 2020-2021.

In addition to leading students in all aspects of the program, the Junior Kindergarten teacher is responsible for implementing an experiential and play-based curriculum, assessing and promoting joyful student learning and growth through exploration and discovery, working collaboratively with assistant teachers, communicating and maintaining clear expectations, and building strong partnerships with parents.

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or equivalent, and minimum two years of experience teaching in the field of Early Childhood Education required; certification in Early Childhood Education preferred. In addition, candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage professional and personal relationships with tact, sensitivity, respect, compassion, and openness.
