We’re thrilled that you’re considering Grymes for your child! The admissions process follows a few steps outlined below, and everything you need for each step can be easily accessed at the links to the right. The Admissions committee considers each candidate individually and issues a formal contract following the review of each complete submission. Grymes admission is a rolling process, so we can try to accommodate your schedule as much as possible!

Let’s get started!

Step One: Inquiry Form

The completed inquiry form lets us know you’re interested in exploring Grymes for your child. After we receive your inquiry, we will be in touch with you within 24 hours to introduce ourselves to you and to schedule your tour.

Step Two: Tour the School

The best way to learn about Grymes is to experience it first-hand. During your visit you’re welcome to be a fly on the wall so you can see our magic at work!

Step Three: Online Application & Transcripts

Applications for 1st – 8th grades include a completed online application, a teacher recommendation and a current transcript. Applications for PreK – Kindergartners include the completed online application and the Early Learner Questionnaire.

Step Four: Student Visit & Assessment

The final step in our admissions process is a student visit, during which time our staff can perform a quick evaluation of your child’s academic progress. Early Learners typically stay for just a few hours in the morning, while candidates for grades 1 – 8 stay the full day.

Enrollment is complete when your signed contract is returned to the Advancement Office with your enrollment deposit. At this point, any families interested in participating in the Tuition Assistance Program will submit their Parents’ Financial Statement to SSS, and we’ll be in touch as soon as we receive the evaluation!
