Angela Sadler

Third Grade

Angela grew up in Madison County where she still resides. She graduated from Madison County High School and attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.

Angela’s teaching experience began in the Madison County Public School system where she taught remedial reading and first grade for 5 ½ years. She also taught pre-school for one year at Rainbow Pre-school, a church-affiliated program. Angela became a “stay at home” mom and did some home childcare for 4 years. Since coming to Grymes, Angela has taught Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten.

Angela has always enjoyed working with children because she thinks it is “fun and full of surprises”. She feels she is happiest teaching young children because everything is new and exciting to them. Angela chose to teach at Grymes for the opportunity to work in a close-knit school community and because the emphasis is placed on the “whole child in a strong academic program”. For these reasons, she chose Grymes for her own children, Maggie and Jake.

Angela loves to spend time biking, hiking, boating, fishing and swimming with her family which includes two children, Jake and Maggie, both Grymes graduates.
