Schedule a Tour
The best way to find out more about Grymes is to visit during the school day and see our children and teachers in action. Tours and interviews are available by appointment from September through May, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tours and interviews can also be scheduled from June through August by appointment.
Fill Out an Application
Submit an application in the fall of the year prior to entry. Sign the "Permission to Release Student Record” form included with the application and give it to the school where your child is currently enrolled. Call 540.672.1010 for information or to request additional forms. Application forms are on the right side of this page.
Student Visit to Grymes
Once applications are on file, children are invited to spend some time in the classroom. Applicants for junior kindergarten and kindergarten are screened for readiness individually by the junior kindergarten and kindergarten teachers. Applicants for grades one through eight are screened individually in the Academic Support and Enrichment Coordinator.
Our sincere hope is that no student who is admitted to Grymes walks away from the opportunity to attend for reason of cost. Grymes is proud to offer financial assistance to families who demonstrate need. Please contact the admissions office for information on how to apply for financial assistance.
